Last week, MCA lobbyist Samira Jackson represented the firm at two cornerstone events highlighting the power of Black leadership in policy and advocacy. She first attended the National Black Professional Lobbyists Association’s Annual Conference and Membership Meeting, themed “The Power is in the States!” The theme was a timely reminder that state-level lobbying continues to shape meaningful policy change across the country.
She then joined the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference (ALC54) in Washington, D.C., which carried the theme “Made for this Moment: Power, Policy, and Progress.” Both gatherings convened Black professionals driving policy, law, and advocacy from across the country to exchange ideas, build connections, and strategize on advancing equity, civic engagement, and community progress.
