The Baltimore Sun Media and the University of Baltimore conducted a poll of 562 likely Democratic primary voters and 428 likely Republican primary voters by telephone and online May 27 through June 2. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points for Democrats and plus or minus 4.7 percentage points for Republicans.

The poll showed Delegate Lierman leading Mayor Adams in the Democratic primary race for comptroller by 9%. Of those surveyed, 28% support Delegate Lierman, 19% support Mayor Adams, 52% were undecided, and 1% indicated that they were voting for someone else.

In the poll for the Democratic gubernatorial primary race, candidates Peter Franchot, Wes Moore, and Tom Perez were taking the lead. Of those surveyed, 20% support Peter Franchot, 15% support Wes Moore, 12% support Tom Perez, 7% support Rushern Baker, 4% support Doug Gansler, 4% support John King, 2% support Ashwani Jain, and candidates Jon Baron, Ralph Jaffe, and Jerome Segal each had 1% of the surveyor’s support. The poll also indicated that 31% of the voters surveyed were undecided and 3% were voting for someone else.

In the poll for the Republican gubernatorial primary race, Kelly Schulz led Dan Cox by 6%. Of those surveyed, 27% support Kelly Schulz, 21% support Dan Cox, 5% support Robin Flicker, 4% support Joe Werner, 42% were undecided, and 1% were voting for someone else.
